Por favor Amazon, envía mapas en un tubo

Tenía ya tiempo que quería comprarme un mapa para decorar una de las paredes en mi nuevo piso. No quería gastar mucho dinero y quería que el mapa fuera tipo antiguo, sin el mar azul de los típicos mapas que imaginamos, así que pensé: ¿dónde puedo encontrar online algo como esto? en Amazon claro, donde se puede comprar hasta almas perdidas...

¿Cuál es mi sorpresa cuando llegó mi tan esperado mapa? pues que venía en una caja.... ¡doblado! ¿perdón? ¿me quieren decir que una empresa que vende mapas no tiene tubos? sí, de esos tubos que venden en los museos para llevarte cualquier lámina que compres, esos tubos que trae todo el mundo de vuelta de Amsterdam después de visitar el Museo VanGogh. Pues no señoras y señores, mi mapa venía enrollado y luego doblado porque claramente la caja no era lo suficientemente larga para que cupiera entero. Más abajo podéis ver la prueba fotográfica.

¿Qué hice? pues escribí un mail a atención al cliente porque no quería hacer la gestión de devolución. Eso de tener que ir a correos, pagar por el envío a quién sabe dónde y esperar a la devolución sería más estresante que otra solución. Así que el equipo de amazon me ofreció devolverme la mitad del importe y me quedé con el mapa. Tal vez tendré que pensar en plancharlo.

It was a while ago that I wanted to buy a world map to put in one of the empty walls in my new flat. Didn't want to spend a big amount but wanted the kind of map with an antique look, not like the ones that have the blue sea so, I thought that the best place to find anything you might want to buy online was Amazon.com, where you can even buy lost souls..

What was my surprise when I received my beloved map? well, that it came in a box... folded!!! mmm, excuse me? do you mean that a company that sells maps doesn't have a proper packaging?, yes, those tubes that are sold in any museum, those that everybody brings back home from Amsterdam that were bought at the Van Gogh Museum! Well ladies and gentlemen, mi map was rolled and then folded because the box was not big enough to fit. You can see below the photographic evidence.

What did I do? well, I wrote to customer service because I wanted to avoid the return steps, you know, going to the local mail post, paying for the delivery I don't know when and wait for the refund. So, they kindly offered me back half of the map's cost and I kept the map. Probably, I will have to try and iron it though.
