Yes, I know that probably your eyes don't understand what they're seeing. But yes, this is how people are in Veracruz. They are not capable of walking an extra step than the necessary, not minding if they block parking entrances, crossing lines, handicapped accesses.
My street doesn't have lots of traffic but there are some commercial spots near so there's always the need of a parking spot. But at the same time, there are still some areas with no constructions, therefore there's still a lot of space to park.
You may wonder that probably I only complain and complain but do nothing, but no!!! I always go and complain to the person doing wrong if possible! For this case, the guy was inside the car so I gently approached (you need to be gentle, otherwise is a risk!) and told him: you have free space just there! He just looked at me and said: it's just a little moment...
Yes, this is the classic answer of what we face everyday here, in almost lots of situations. People don't say, they're sorry and rectify, they just give an excuse, ignore you or sometimes even worse, you can get insulted.
So, I ask you citizens, as a new goal for this new year, try to walk a little bit more, it will do you and your legs good. Change will change favorably if you start respecting your neighbor.
And please, don't park in my place or anyone else's!!!
